Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards assessments

The London Borough of Barnet seeks to procure Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards assessments and has issued this Invitation to Tender (ITT). The London Borough of Barnet seeks to award providers onto an Approved List for Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards Assessments completed by both Best Interest Assessors and Mental Health Assessors. The tender is divided into two lots:
Lot 1: Best Interest Assessors
Lot 2: Mental Health Assessors

The authority welcomes applications from: Independent assessors, agencies or other suitable organisations who can apply for one or both Lots.

The Authority intends to develop an approved list for a period of an initial three year term with the option exercisable by the Authority of a 1 + 1 year extension subject to performance review and budget. The list will be reviewed annually.
