Provision of Partnership Libraries
Description
London Borough of Barnet has a requirement to deliver new Partnership libraries this involves reshaping the Library service that will, amongst other things, keep all 14 libraries open with four to become community-managed Partnership libraries.
This means services will be developed jointly with local communities and Partnership libraries will remain part of the statutory library network, retaining the LBB branding. Barnet Council is now inviting community groups, not-for-profit and voluntary organisations and groups of residents to come forward to run East Barnet, South Friern, Mill Hill and Childs Hill Partnership libraries.
Expressions of Interest are required to shortlist for business case submission. This requirement is subject to a light touch regime voluntary OJEU notice which has been released separately to support this requirement.
