Extra Care Housing - Provider Information Event

Dear Provider

The London Borough of Barnet wishes to commission a care and support service for two existing Extra Care Housing schemes in Barnet. These schemes are primarily for frail older people, and consist of nearly 100 rented units in total.

The Council's vision is to provide exemplary, high quality, extra care accommodation in Barnet, reflecting best practice in the delivery of flexible person-centred care and support. The focus is to enable people to remain in their homes for longer to avoid social isolation and prevent high-cost residential care packages.

The Council would like to invite you to the Provider Information Event on the below date and location to provide you with commissioning information and guidance, and to talk about effective tender writing.

Please note that the Council can accept a maximum of 2 representatives per Provider.

Site information for visitors can be found at www.barnet.gov.uk. Please not that there is no on-site parking but some public car parks nearby. Please ensure you arrive in good time. Upon arrival, please report to reception at Hendon Town Hall, sign in and follow directions to the Heritage Room.
