Provision of Delivery of Education and Skills Services
Description
Given the financial challenge facing public services and the changing educational landscape, the Council needs to consider what the best model is for the future delivery of education services in Barnet. We need a model that delivers our joint ambition and meets the needs of the schools and local authority partnership, as well as the children and families of Barnet.
As part of this process the Council is exploring alternative models for the delivery of Education and Skills services, including possible joint venture, service contract arrangement and framework contract models to involve education sector providers in supporting the Council in transforming services.
